Indications

Synthesy® is particularly useful in case of catabolic stress (trauma, surgery), physical and mental fatigue, intense exercise and overtraining syndrome.

It is also recommended to prevent sarcopenia in the elderly and to fight immune deficiency conditions.

Take 4 tablets a day, with half a glass of water, 20 minutes after exercise, preferably together with a carbohydrate-based drink.

Properties

Synthesy® is a supplement made using a particularly innovative and effective formula.

Hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) and ketoisocaproate (KIC)-based, it is indicated to promote muscle trophism, post-intense workout recovery and the rebuilding of any muscle damage.

HMB has shown to have anti-catabolic action, preventing lean mass loss under conditions of high workload and physical stress.

Scientific studies also seem to confirm that HMB has positive effects on mood and promotes the reduction of total and LDL cholesterol levels.

HMB, naturally produced by the BCAAs in our organism, stimulates the mTORc1 cell receptor that activates the synthesis of new proteins.

Such activity is especially significant to facilitate recovery after strenuous physical activities, during which the organism repairs and rebuilds the muscle’s structure.

KIC is one of leucine’s metabolites.

Its consumption, combined with arginine, has proven to improve sports performances and to facilitate muscle damage rebuilding, thus promoting the release of energy and facilitating the reduction of ammonia accumulation.

Arginine also stimulates the production of nitric oxide (NO) and contributes to greater blood and nutrient afflux in the muscles.

HMB and KIC are further supported by phosphatidylserine, a phospholipid that seems to have a cortisol-blocker function, which means it reduces physical but also mental stress.

Cortisol is known as the stress hormone because it is produced when the organism is in psychophysical difficulty, and it is a “muscle energy-emptying” hormone.
